ESG Personal Flying Wing

A [tag]parachute[/tag] system designed to allow the wearer to glide for up to 40 kilometres carrying 100 kilogrammes of equipment. That is what this design, named the Gryphon by ESG, is all about.
The idea behind this piece of equipment is to allow airdrops to be conducted safely away from hostile fire. The deployed paratroopers can then proceed to a target point by gliding. The near silent [tag]flying wing[/tag] unit will be hard to spot by ground radar thus preserving the element of surprise.
ESG plans to integrate Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology into the next upgrade. Coupled with mini propulsion devices (i.e. mini turbofans), the UAV enabled flying wing has the potential to carry its [tag]paratroopers[/tag] for miles into hostile territory with having to deploy the paratrooper from extreme heights. This makes for a nasty surprise attack tool.
As for me, I could probably use it to jump off my apartment block and [tag]glide[/tag] into the city - over all that nasty traffic jams!
