Tesla’s Electric Car
Sunday, July 9th, 2006
Cars nowadays are getting better and better. More horsepower, better styling, cool gadgets and luxurious interior. One problem though - they still need to run on some kind of fossil fuel.
Alternative fuels are being proposed but it does not look like a fully hydrogen powered car is going to hit the mainstream market pretty soon. The amount of work going into revamping gas stations to fit hydrogen pumps is quiet a big turn off.
So why is Tesla’s electric car being ignored? Or is the technology being supressed?
First, let’s have a look at what the car is all about…
Somehwere in 1931, Nikola Tesla once took the gasoline engine out of a Pierce-Arrow and replaced it with an 80 horsepower 1800 rpm A.C. motor. The interesting thing is that he did not install any batteries!
Tesla then built a little box comprising of some vacuum tubes, a few resistors and wires. He placed this box in the front seat and connected the leads to the motor. Tesla then pushed in two rods into the box and the car was powered!
Tesla claimed that he is tapping the power from the aether around and then channelling it to the electric motor. I guess a lot of people will find that hard to believe.
If this is indeed true, then it is a fantastic invention indeed! But then again, if Tesla really did accomplish this feat, then it would mean that his technology is being kept locked up somewhere. After all, you can’t keep raking in the big bucks if people do not depend on perishable fuels for their vehicle, now can you?

Wjat a stupid statement. Does this gullible fellow realize how valuable any such source of energy would be? You could rule the world with such a patent. People would kill to get this info, which mysteriously has never been divulged, mainly because it never existed. There is no credible evidence that any such car ever was powered by Tesla’s hokey little box of vacuum tubes and dime store electronics. Physicists have torn to shreds the idea that any such limitless, easily garnered energy exists in the “ether” (which is a non-entity - there is no ether). Tesla never claimed to know what it was. In his later years Tesla’s mind left him subject to paranoid illusions and he became an occultist and believed we were being visited by aliens. At that stage of his life, anything Tesla claimed can be dismissed as evidence of a damaged mental state.

I think that tesla had this car, but it was not ether, but transmitted energy through atmosphere. He did several succesful attempts. So i think that car just recieve energy from some generator which transmitted this energy to the car… sorry about english, im just begginer

I can only look at the huge body of totally incredible, but totally real, inventions that Tesla came up with over the course of his life and say, ya, he did it. So the next question is… where is the info?

yeah i think he might not have had the right words.. but he definately had something and it was bought and kept from used by the oil industry… you would do anything you can to keep a well paying job right?
alternative fuels will only ever take on when fossil fuels are depleted
nicola tesla was a brilliant inventor.. so his mental state must have been well kept together.

It has been stated that 12 type 70l7 valves used in Teslas car controls as cold cathodes. These are standard “thermionic” valves and MUST have a heated filament.Filament requires 70 volts. Another very dificult voltage to find with a 12 volt car battery. It has been sugested that A.C.from received frequency of megacycles was fed to the A.C. motor. Above 60 Hz., motors just get fiercly hot and would try to run at stageringly high speed. Lets think again!

Everyone is forgetting something, forget about all the thery, andf the knockers who say it cannot be done.
Just go get the valves, if you need to make them then make them yourself, a valve is just a hollo glass tube with two bits of metal plates in it connected by wires, vaccuum it and seal it up.
Use a bunson burner, you get the idea.
Start and connect them up any whole way, if that dosent work, try a different configuration, keep trying until you succeed.
Thats how to do it all on a shoestring.
I once made a 2 ton telescope just because a chap said to me I couldn’t do it, its true.
