Highest Contrast LCD For Your Car

[tag]Sharp[/tag] has developed the industry’s highest contrast ratio LCD operating at 1500:1 for in-vehicle use - namely the dashboard.[tag]LCD[/tag] displays used in vehicles must be highly resistant to vibration and be able to function over a wide range of temperatures compared to LCDs used at home.
Sharp was able to achieve the 1500:1 contrast ratio by re-engineering various display components, particularly the color filter, and by revamping the panel’s pixel design. The display runs at 800 x 480 resolution with a luminance of 400cd/m2. Operating temperature ranges from -30C° to 85°C.
I wonder if Sharp will setup a website for users to download different themes for their dashboard?
