It’s Cool To Be A Dome Head

From this view, it looks like a small television swallowed her head. It is actually Toshiba’s little invention that allows you to enjoy a 360 degree view of your TV or computer monitor. I am guessing that the 360 degree effect is done by filling up a normal human’s 60 degree vision sweep with a 40 centimeter dome-shaped screen.
With an invention like this, TV shows can be taken to a whole new level. Instead of watching a horror show, you can be sitting right in it. That would make something like Poltergeist ten times scarier. Action flicks would be ten times cooler too. Imagine being virtually standing over the should of a trooper in the Starship Troopers battle scene!
Computer games would also take a huge leap forward. First person perspective games would really immerse you in the game play. Online games like World of WarCraft could take player interaction to a new level as well since one can implement some fantastic combat system. The overall computer would probably also go a leap forward in upgrading the user interface. Instead of ‘windows’ it could probably be ‘realms’ where you can step into files and folders to find your stuff.
Cool idea with great potential. Right now though, it is a tad too heavy being 3kg and all. To realize some great potential, Toshiba would need to really make this thing light, portable and affordable. It would probably need to be shrunken down to the size of a hockey face mask for it to work. That’s what I think anyway.

this sounds like a //hack.g.u. i mean realms we already have but interact in that level will mean like the heaven for me i pray to live the enoug to see this come true
